Walt’s interest in filmmaking began at a young age, creating films at home before going on to study Media, Photography and Theatre at Hurtwood House. His early professional work included several music videos released under his stage name, Tomii Rose, for which he co-directed and designed elements of the visual concepts and production.
 
In 2022, Walt co-directed and produced the “home-made style” music video for Mark Owen’s single Magic. Following the formal establishment of Mad Flavour Creative in Los Angeles in 2024, he produced and directed the official video for Hendo Soul’s Crazy, Stupid Love Songs, having also produced the music itself. His wider artist portfolio includes short-form social content and video productions created for musicians while living in Los Angeles.
 
Alongside artist work, Walt has produced branded and corporate film content for companies including Hello Genius, Free Land Solar and Green Gorilla. For Hello Genius, he conceived, scripted and edited brand films for social media, educational content, product launches, fundraising and investor communications, combining original music, voice-over, copy and curated footage. His work for Free Land Solar includes films explaining the company’s technology, the problems it addresses and the people behind the business, produced through a combination of original video, interviews, copy and music. Across these projects, his involvement has included concept development, scripting, directing, filming, editing, sound and post-production.
